These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which Blockage Busters London provides drainage and maintenance services to customers.
By booking a service, subscribing to a plan, or using our website, you agree to these Terms and our Fair Use Policy.


1. About Us

Blockage Busters London (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides professional drainage and maintenance services throughout London and surrounding areas.
We operate with qualified engineers and offer both one-off call-outs and ongoing service plans.

2. Scope of Services

We provide the following services:

  • Emergency drain unblocking
  • CCTV drain surveys
  • Drain jetting and cleaning
  • Drain repairs and maintenance
  • Preventative service plans and scheduled maintenance

Services are carried out by trained professionals using appropriate tools and methods.
We aim to respond promptly to all emergency calls; however, response times may vary depending on demand and location.


3. Service Plans and Coverage

Our service plans provide ongoing coverage for drainage maintenance and emergency assistance.
Each plan includes:

  • Unlimited call-outs under fair use (see Section 4)
  • Priority booking and scheduling
  • Regular inspections and jet washing (as specified in your plan)

The plan covers drainage issues within the boundaries of the subscribed property only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.


4. Fair Use Policy

Our unlimited service plans are designed to give you full coverage for genuine drainage needs — without limits when it truly matters.

To keep our service fair and efficient for all customers, we apply a Fair Use Policy, which means:

  • Call-outs and service requests must be reasonable and necessary.
  • Excessive, repetitive, or non-essential requests may be considered misuse.
  • Repeated daily call-outs or requests for unrelated issues may incur additional charges.

If we believe a plan is being used unfairly, we will discuss it with you before taking any action. In extreme or repeated cases, we may suspend or cancel the plan in line with these Terms.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are clearly stated before work begins.
  • Payment for one-off services is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.
  • Service plans are billed monthly or annually, as agreed upon signup.
  • Late or failed payments may result in suspension of service until payment is received.
  • We reserve the right to review and adjust pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

One-Off Services:

  • You may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment at no cost.
  • Same-day cancellations may incur a call-out fee if an engineer has been dispatched.

Service Plans:

  • You may cancel your plan at any time with 30 days’ written notice.
  • Refunds for prepaid plans will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for unused months, less any services already provided.

7. Access & Safety

The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property and drainage areas.
If conditions are unsafe or access is blocked, our engineers may refuse service or reschedule the visit.

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by unsafe working environments, extreme weather, or events outside our control.


8. Liability

We take care to provide high-quality work. However, we cannot be held liable for:

  • Pre-existing issues not identified at the time of inspection.
  • Damage caused by third parties or misuse after service completion.
  • Indirect or consequential losses (e.g. business interruption or loss of profit).

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question.


9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate information about the property and drainage systems.
  • Allow reasonable time for completion of services or repairs.
  • Report any issues promptly for assessment.

Failure to do so may limit our ability to deliver service under your plan.


10. Complaints & Disputes

We take customer satisfaction seriously.
If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us at [insert email] or by phone.
We’ll respond within 5 business days and aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it may be referred to an independent mediation service before any legal action is considered.


11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate services or plans if:

  • Payment is repeatedly missed or overdue.
  • The Fair Use Policy is breached.
  • Unsafe or inappropriate conditions prevent us from completing work.

In such cases, notice will be provided wherever possible.


12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be handled by the courts of England and Wales.


13. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in our services, pricing, or policies. The latest version will always be available on our website.
